How to access OmicSoft Lands

1. What are OmicSoft Lands?

The Lands databases provide a high-quality curated and integrated genomics repository and visualization platform. Using QIAGEN OmicSoft Land technology, explore public genomics datasets with customized visualizations and analytic tools. Build custom Lands with internal data to visualize side-by-side with thousands of data sets.

2. How to access OmicSoft Lands?

Based on your need there are different ways to access, analyze and visualize Lands data.

1. OmicSoft Studio (GUI)

User group: Biologist, Researchers who prefer Desktop and GUI based analysis

OmicSoft Studio is a software package that provides state of the art statistics and visualization for the analysis of high dimensional quantification data (e.g. Microarray or RT-PCR/Taqman data), genotype data (e.g. SNP or Copy Number data) and Next Generation Sequencing data.
It provides the fastest, easiest and most powerful solution for “-omic” and “NGS” data analysis
Includes over 40 unique views, all of which are fully interactive (e.g. selection, zoom, etc.) and highly customizable (e.g. change axis, colors, shapes, etc.). Most of these views also have trellis support.
Integrates with Array Server, Omicsoft’s enterprise solution for Microarray/CNV/SNP/NGS data storage, search and integration.

2. OmicSoft Land Explorer

User group: Biologist, Researchers who prefer web-based tool

The streamlined web interface uses OmicSoft’s most popular visualizations to help researchers explore OmicSoft Lands.
Quickest way to explore OmicSoft Land data (OncoLand, DiseaseLand and Internal Lands).

3. OmicSoft Lands API

User group: Data Scientists (Check the data scientist page for more resources)

Programmatically discover, retrieve, filter, aggregate and analyze omics (RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, microarray, proteomics etc.) data from QIAGEN’s comprehensive repository of deeply curated multi-omics data.
Leverage extensive metadata to find and combine datasets of interest, find and test signatures, and perform custom analyses to reveal disease-related patterns.
