With September upon us, the EUROTOX 2015 Congress is just around the corner. Attended by some of the world’s leading toxicologists to share ideas and scientific developments, EUROTOX is probably Europe’s most important toxicology event. This year it takes place at the Alfândega International Congress Center from September 13-16 in beautiful Porto, Portugal, where the city center was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996.
Porto is known as the “City of Bridges,” which elegantly mirrors this year’s EUROTOX theme, “Bridging Sciences for Safety.” The meeting’s focus will be on the critical role of toxicology in safely bridging scientific knowledge across biology, chemistry, pharmacology, and physiology—which means that the interpretation of large-scale ’omics data is imperative. To help uncover the significance of data and identify new targets or candidate biomarkers within the context of biological systems, toxicologists are turning to Ingenuity® Pathway Analysis, our web-based software application featuring powerful analysis and search tools for gene expression data.
