Workshop at RNA-Seq Summit 2016

On April 26-28 we’re going to San Francisco for RNA-Seq 2016 – a meeting bringing together scientists, bioinformaticians and business leaders for discussions about the most recent and exciting research in the RNA-Seq industry.

We’ll host a workshop on April 26 and you’re of course invited:

Title: Transcriptome analysis of Kupffer cells after uptake of pancreatic cancer exosomes reveal pathways and biological processes involved in metastatic progression
Speakers: Jamie Hill, Ph.D., Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Jean-Noel Billaud, Ph.D., Principal Scientist
Date and time: Tuesday April 26 at 9:00 a.m. – 01:00 p.m. – Registration and breakfast from 8:40 a.m.
Location: Athens North Room – talk will take place in the Vienna Room

Registration: Please make sure to sign up – http://rna-seqsummit.com/register/

At the workshop you can learn about:

  • Evaluating a biologist approach to streamlining RNA-sequencing alignment and analysis using configured workflows for the fast track to biological interpretation
  • Analyzing exosome gene expression signatures to pinpoint significant genes associated with early detection of pancreatic cancer
Identifying differentially expressed isoforms and their association to pancreatic cancer
  • We’ll also have a drinks reception on April 27 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the Athens Room, where the exhibition takes place.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
